Above Ground Tank Removal

Typically above ground storage tanks are either placed inside or outside of the home. The top of the tank is cut large enough to have a field technician fit inside of the tank. The tank is then be emptied and all the contents from the tank would then be transferred into a new tank on site, or be disposed of at a licensed waste disposal facility. In the event that oil is transferred to a new tank, you should still anticipate having to dispose of some waste as the tank bottoms consist of heavy sludge, which must be disposed of. After the tank has been thoroughly cleaned we will remove and disposed of the sludge. If we have limited access and cannot remove the tank in one piece, we will cut it into manageable pieces and legally dispose. We will then concrete patch or foam fill the holes in the building from either the fill, vent, or oil lines.
